Number of contacts
This indicates the number of contacts the connector has.
Locking Type
The locking system describes how the pin and socket elements are joined.
  • BayonetThe connection can be secured by means of a partial rotation.
  • M25The connectors can be screwed together to secure the connection. M stands for metric thread and the number stands for the external diameter.
  • RD24The connectors are screwed together. RD means round thread.
  • RD30The connectors are screwed together. RD means round thread.
Degree of protection
The degrees of protection according to IEC60529 apply to various articles and provide information on protection against the intrusion of water and solids such as dust.
  • IP40Protects against contact with tools, wires and other similar objects of Ø > 1 mm and against the intrusion of foreign bodies of Ø > 1 mm. Does not protect against water.
  • IP65Fully protects against touch and against the intrusion of dust. Protects against sprayed water (jet) from any angle.
  • IP65 with cable diameter 6-7 mmFully protects against touch and against the intrusion of dust. Protects against sprayed water (jet) from any angle.
  • IP67Fully protects against touch and against the intrusion of dust. Protects against water intrusion in temporary immersion (depth: 1 m; duration: 30 minutes).
  • IP68/IP69KIP68: Fully protects against touch. Protects against the intrusion of dust. Protects against water intrusion in sustained immersion (depth: 2 m; duration: 24 hours), requirements specification by agreement between producer and user.

IP69K: Fully protects against touch. Protects against the intrusion of dust. Protects against water intrusion under high pressure (8,000–10,000 kPa) from a jet or from steam-jet cleaning from any direction.
Version
The choice of version allows the definition of certain technical specifications – for example the type of cable outlet or the size.
Connector Type
Connectors are differentiated by installation type: those that are mounted in a device housing (panel mount) and those that are attached to cables.
  • Cable mountingConnectors with cable already moulded or for self-assembly.
  • Housing assemblyConnectors that can be mounted to device housings. These can be fixed by means of a locking nut or be screwed in (requires a threaded hole).
Shielded Option
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) means that a connector is shielded or shieldable. This is required when it is necessary to protect the signals or data conducted by the connector, as well as to protect external devices, from disturbance due to electromagnetic effects.
Product segment
binder areas of application or type of connector.
  • PowerPower connectors for high currents and voltages.
Termination
The termination type determines how cables, single wires or PCBs can be joined with the connector.
  • screw clampThe wires in a cable are pressed in the contact element radially by means of a screw, establishing the electrical contact.
  • solderThe contact and the individual wires of a cable are connected using solder.

Power connector

Our range of power connectors is suitable for virtually any low and high voltage application, from security and CCTV systems to fieldbus Ethernet components and AC and DC motors. Some models meet the requirements of the most extreme environments - both indoor and outdoor. Various connection options are available, and bayonet, M25 and RD24 locking systems are available. Some models are ESTI+, UL and VDE approved. To expand the range of applications, users can choose between straight and right-angled cable and flange versions.

Features:

• 3 to 24 contacts, also with +PE
• Protection class from IP40 to IP69K
• UL, VDE and ESTI+ approval
• Cable and flange formats
• Solder, screw terminal, crimp connection and molded cable
• Shieldable versions
