binder cancels participation in SPS 2021

The latest developments regarding the corona virus have prompted binder to withdraw from participation in the SPS 2021 automation trade show which is scheduled for November 23-25 in Nuremberg, Germany.

"The decision not to participate in SPS 2021 was very difficult for us. However, for us as a family business, health protection and responsibility towards our employees, customers and further partners are of the highest priority. Therefore, under the given circumstances, the cancellation of our participation in SPS 2021 is inevitable for us," says Markus Binder, General Manager of the binder group.

The corona infection situation has worsened dramatically in recent days. For this reason, according to the Robert Koch Institute, no major events should take place. The Bavarian government has declared a catastrophe alert for the Free State of Bavaria. Following the latest recommendations and developments, binder has decided to withdraw from participation in the presence event in Nuremberg.

Trade shows are one of the most important communication tools for binder. With its trade show appearances, the Neckarsulm-based family company pursues the goal of presenting its products, celebrating the brand, and communicating with customers and booth visitors in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Personal contacts play a key role in this. However, this is no longer possible under the given circumstances. Therefore, for binder, a digital format, such as a virtual trade show booth is not an alternative to the personal experience.
