Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) means that a connector is shielded or shieldable. This is required when it is necessary to protect the signals or data conducted by the connector, as well as to protect external devices, from disturbance due to electromagnetic effects.
440 Series push-pull circular connectors are designed for demanding applications requiring a fast IP67 connection with the possibility of EMI shielding. They are available with 3 to 19 contacts in straight cable and flange versions with solder termination. The cable passage is 4 to 8 mm. Depending on the number of contacts, 440 series connectors are designed for a rated current of 3 A to 7 A.
